About Harp for Healing

Music with Intention.
Training with Purpose.
Ministry with Healing Presence.

Harp for Healing is dedicated to providing high-quality, affordable, flexible training for musicians in the appropriate and effective use of live music in healthcare and healing environments. Our programs focus on presence, sensitivity, flexibility, and responsiveness, helping musicians move beyond performance and into music that supports comfort, care, and well-being.

Therapeutic music is not about entertainment. It is about listening, adapting, and meeting people where they are - physically, emotionally, and spiritually. At Harp for Healing, we teach musicians how to develop those skills through structured education, mentorship, and real-world application.

Our Approach
Education Rooted in Care

Our training programs are designed for musicians who feel called to serve others through music. We emphasize:

  • Healing presence not performance
  • Responsiveness to individual needs
  • Understanding healthcare environments
  • Ethical and professional standards
  • Ongoing learning and reflection
  • Ministry to anyone in need of healing

Whether someone is just beginning to explore therapeutic music or pursuing advanced certification, our goal is the same: to support musicians in developing the skills and awareness required for healing work. In developing the skills to be a healing presence, the musician creates a deeper connection to their music, which enhances their own musicality, spiritual life, and personal well-being.
